Acting Coach Mike Nuccio

Michael Nuccio is a New York born and raised actor, director, and teacher. He began his theatre training at New York City’s prestigious Neighborhood Playhouse under the direction of Ron Stetson. Michael then continued refining his talent in the Meisner Technique at the Stetson Studio in New York City, NY.

Michael further enhanced his craft under the tutelage of Deborah Hedwall, who was Uta Hagen’s protegee and assistant at HB Studios. Deborah is currently head of the M.F.A. acting program at Rutger’s University.

Before moving to Denver CO., Michael spent several years with the Ensemble Studio Theater’s Actor/Director Lab. While there, Michael’s main focus was writing, producing, acting, and directing original works.

In Denver, he refined his acting and directing skills with Bill Howey, who taught such pupils as George Clooney, Mimi Rogers and Pricilla Presley. Upon returning to teach in LA, Bill Howey granted his Denver Studio to Michael, trusting him to continue teaching Mr. Howey’s “The Actor’s Menu” Technique.

In his 14 year professional career Michael has accrued an impressive resume which includes; movies, tv appearances, and national commercials. His directing credits for Theatre include two plays in Denver. Life Happens , an eight woman cast performing original work here in Denver. His direction of The Painter, a one act play by Peter DeAnello, helped to win the jury award for best play at the Tri-media Festival in 2008.

In 2010 Michael produced and directed the short film Shabadoo and Rigsby, which will be hitting the film festival circuit in 2011.
